Dr. shreedharArchik completed his medical education from Mumbai’s prestigious Seth GS medical college and KEM hospital.

He then joined Nuffield orthopedic center, Oxford, UK for his further training.

He honed his skills in joint replacement surgery and did research in the field of limb lengthening. He was admitted to St. Peters’ college, Oxford for his M.Sc. degree in orthopedics. He worked as a lecturer in the department of orthopedics, Oxford University. He is a fellow of the famous Girdlestone Orthopedic Society.

He was awarded M.Sc. in 1996 and in the same year he startedhis practice in Mumbai.

He is attached to Lilavati, Global and Hinduja healthcare hospitals in Mumbai.

He has done fellowships in arthroplasty with eminent names like Dr. Kirsten Perka of Humboldt University, Berlin. Dr. Park from Samsung medical centre, Soul, South Korea.

He has been trainedin the field of computer assisted surgeries at the European Institute of Surgeons, Hamburg. He was one of the first few surgeons from India to be a certified user of computer assisted joint replacement surgeries.

He is a recognized post graduate teacher for DNB orthopedics course in India.

A six month fellowship training in arthroplasty is available for interested post –graduate   students.

He is a faculty at the Depuy and Zimmer Institutes in India and teaches advance arthroplasty to delegates from ASEAN countries.

He founded a trust “Navam” in 2008 to help poor patients who need a joint replacement surgery. His trust has performed more than 50 free surgeries for poor patients.

Dr. Archik holds post graduate diplomas in business administration and medico-legal practice as well.
