Dr. Sushil Kumar Upadhyay completed his MBBS from King George's Medical College, Lucknow, in 1996, and went on to do his MD from Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad, in the year 2001.
Subsequent to this, Dr. Upadhyay worked in the Department of Endocrinology at Apollo Hospital in Delhi as Registrar, from 2001 to 2003.
