Dr. Vinod Raina

Dr Raina is a very good doctor because he chooses the patient he wants to treat and the one he believes will increase his medical rating.I had a very bad experience with Dr Raina. My mum was suffering from gall bladder cancer and we went to Fortis Memorial Gurgaon for treatment. Though we had appointment with Dr Raina, it was his assistant who looked after my mum and during her chemotherapy treatment, Dr Raina just hopped in once in a while just to know if my mum was still here. He never said a hello to my mum or even had a few seconds to talk to her. The only thing that he did was to keep my mum on her chemotherapy treatment as he knew we were international patients. Dr Raina achieved fame by choosing his cancer patients. International patients have to be very careful when visiting Dr Raina.Though he might be a very good oncology, as many reviews suggested, but he has to learn that all patients are equal and being a good doctor does not give him the right to choose his patient. May be with the fame he is gaining, he tends to forget about good medical practice and morals, a medical oath he promised to abide by.One thing that he will definitely learn one day is that in front of the almighty everyone will be treated equally.
