" My husband was having severe pain in the tooth. We decided to meet Dr. Santanu Gogoi. for understanding what was best RCT/ Extraction. When we met the doctor, he suggested to go for extraction. We took an appointment and came for extraction. It took grueling 1 and half an hour for the doctor to extract the tooth. After three days, my husband complained about severe pain. We went to meet the doctor again and he had a look and said that everything was all right. After two days again when he complained of pain, we decided to take another opinion and met another dentist in MG Road. The dentist asked for an x-ray. We were astonished to see that the Dr. Santanu had not removed the tooth completely and half tooth was completely visible in the x-ray due to which infection took place and bone became exposed. The new doctor suggested for extraction immediately along with a minor surgery. Dr. Santanu Gogoi doctor charged us 1600 rs and didn’t even bother to extract the complete tooth. And on top of it, on the next visit he didn’t bother to mention that he was not equipped enough on the first place for the extraction and secondly he could not even understand in next visit hat he has not removed the tooth completely. I have all the documents/ doctor’s recommendations and x-rays with me to prove it.I guess we were lucky enough to take decision to meet another doctor who understood the pain and criticality of the issue. I would strongly recommend not to visit Dr. Santanu Gogoi. I am working as IT professional and I have taken out time in between my hectic schedule to write this feedback so that no other person gets trapped with such doctors who are namesake doctors.
