My husband Dr. M.K Shingari got the procedure for his fourth stent at the age of 80 years done recently by the Banker Hospital O P road. Dr Darshan Banker explained is that they will be using the latest technology of Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for this. The procedure is a bit pricey but worthwhile as it ensures the safety and success of the procedure. The position of the fourth stent was quite critical but the skillful and professional Bankers team did it successfully without any discomfort to my husband. The previous three stenting were done by Dr. Darshan Banker 12 years ago.
