" It is a psychiatrist’s duty to make the patient feel comfortable enough for them to share their problems freely with the doctor. Within 5 minutes of meeting her, she confirmed i had ADHD. While i was telling her my problems, on multiple occasions she interrupted me by getting distracted by someone else’s sheet, or picking up someone’s call while i was speaking and then uninterestedly asking me to continue. Her prescription had punctuation and spelling mistakes , she asked me to research about ADHD types and medication myself at home instead of explaining it to me and after 25 minutes wrapped up the session in a hurry saying she has other patients to attend to so book another appointment. I gathered the courage to visit a psychiatrist after 3 years which I explicitly told her but she made me feel very unwelcomed, cold and transactional. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone expecting a warm and understanding first meeting with a psychiatrist. Her instructions at the end were very unclear too. Will never go to her again.
