" RUINED MY EYE : My advice as a patient who lost 20/20 vision due to Dr Mehta: Please get lasik, SMILE or any surgical procedure done here at your own risk. I went to Dr Mehta in Feb 2020 to get lasik done, he recommended that I go for SMILE (it was a more expensive procedure and he sold us on it). After the surgery, my left eye vision was never the same. I had power of -3 on both eyes and this was supposed to be the simplest procedure. However, Dr. Mehta not only failed at performing a simple power correction surgery but also kept us hanging for 2 years, performed a second surgery on my left eye which left the vision permanently damaged. Dr Mehta is getting old of age, Im not sure if he was ever a good surgeon but with his age, poor patient management and even worse surgical skills - you're on your own. This is just a money making machine and if the India law was a working system, Dr Mehta would have lost his license by now. " - Anonymous
