Dark circle, far from a beauty spot is a very common skin problem, in today's stressful lifestyle. One of the major causes of this problem is that people rarely get any time for proper sleep and also lack a nutritional diet. There are a number of cosmetic creams available in the market that claim to reduce the dark circles but none of them can diminish the circles completely. Some people try remedies like sleeping properly; eating healthy diet to diminish the dark circles but for many, despite these measures, dark circles continue to be a nagging problem.
In this article, I will give you some homemade solutions and suggestions which may help you to lighten your skin. But use this remedy carefully because the skin around the eyes is very sensitive and if something enters into the eyes it can harm you.
1- Take 8 hours proper sleep as it keeps the body and mind fit and also reduces dark circles.
2- Drink plenty of fluids - at least 2 liters of water a day to keep the skin smooth.
3- Consume a healthy nutritional diet which should include dairy products , green vegetables and fruits, food rich in iron as all these foods helps in reducing dark circles .You will be surprised to know that dark circles is also caused due to the lack of iron in the body.
4- Apply potato slices or cucumber juice on your skin to reduce the dark spot. Soak cotton balls in the juice and keep them on your eyes for at least 20 minutes to help in reducing the dark circles.
5- Boil some tea leaves in water and refrigerate the filtrate in the freezer to make ice cubes. Keep these ice cubes on the eyes in a cotton cloth for 20 minutes.
6- Apply sunscreen lotion on the skin around the eyes before you go out.
7- Take a teaspoonful of milk powder and apply honey to it. Put this paste on the skin on the dark circles.
8- Apply a good under eye gel or cream to reduce the darkness around the eyes during night time.
9- Massaging eyes with almond oil is of great help. Massaging your under eye skin at night for about two weeks is a good remedy for dark circles.
10- Dark circles can be removed by doing Pranayam daily for at least five minutes.
11- When stressed, keep your eyes covered with cucumber slices for some time. It will help you to get rid of dark circle.
12- Dip cotton balls in rose water and keep for 5-10 minutes provide you relaxation.
13- Every morning, after washing your face, gently apply mixture of equal parts of tomato and lime juice; wash after half an hour.
Dark circles under the eyes, clearly makes your appearance look dull and ugly. One must take proper care to avoid dark circles and patches to look fresh and healthy.
