Exercise is the best way to be healthy and fit, a regular exercise not only makes you physically fit but it also prevents the occurrence of diseases. Some people prefer to go to gym while there are some who feel comfortable to start the exercise at their own home. So following are some of the basic exercises which you can do at your home.
Yoga:
Yoga is the exercise which not only helps to lose weight but it also corrects the posture and avoids stress. But if you are a beginner then you should start yoga under the supervision of a trained teacher. You can call the yoga trainer at your home and start the exercise.
Aerobics:
Aerobics helps to tone the body and it also accelerates the heart rate. It increases the energy levels, reduces the blood pressure and improves mental health.
Pushups:
Although these are hard to do but they are quite useful to build up the strength and muscles. It can help to build up the muscles of the arms and they also tone up the body.
Walking:
Walking is the exercise which is quite easy to maintain especially since the cost is minor and it begins when you step out from your home. It burns your calories and increases the metabolism of the body. Walk also helps in the management of stress. Walk promotes the production of hormones which reduces the levels of stress. It also increases the level of thinking by increasing the supply of fresh oxygen to the brain and the person can see more positively about the life.
Jogging:
Jogging burns extra calories and keep the body physically and mentally fit. Jogging at the morning time can be most beneficial and it can supply the fresh load of oxygen to the body. Begin the jogging with a light warm up, start by walking for five minutes followed by light squad stretch.
Running:
Running is another beneficial exercise which you can start at your home. It is an excellent cardiovascular exercise and helps to increase the stamina and strength. Running in the fresh air can also help to prevent many diseases and purify the whole system.
Cycling:
Cycling or the stationary biking can be the best cardio exercise for the legs and hips and you can easily do it at your home. This exercise also burns around 500-1000 calories depending on the pace of exercise. This exercise gives excellent results within few weeks.
Swimming:
Swimming provides exercise to the whole body and it also relaxes the mind. The calories burnt depend upon the intensity of the exercise. On an average by swimming one can burn around 800 of calories in an hour.
Dancing:
Dancing is the most enjoyable exercise which you can start at your home. This will be a good cardio exercise to lose weight. Just start your favorite music and enjoy this wonderful yet useful exercise. Dancing helps to reduce the weight and it also relieves the stress.
