Never skip your meals especially the breakfast. Regular meals help to maintain the metabolism of the body and avoid weight gain. If you are in a hurry and can not take breakfast then carry it along with you to the office and take it there. Take three major meals and two minor meals. Pack your meals just like you are packing for your child and husband.
Avoid high calorie and fried snacks and instead of them snack on fruits and salads. High calorie snacks are not only fattening but they can also cause indigestion.
Take sufficient sleep as sleep deprivation can also lead to depression and weight gain which can give rise to many other health problems like heart diseases, diabetes and even cancers.
Get regular health checkups for yourself too. This will help you to keep fit and you can also avoid many health diseases.
Don not eat the leftovers as this can lead to eating more and you will eventually gain weight.
Preplan your meals and keep them simple yet nutritional.
Make an exercise schedule for yourself and give it the priority than other works as this will lessen your stress levels and you will feel better about yourself. Get up early in the morning before your kids and do your exercise. If you do not have so much of time then you can start with a 20 min walk or breathing exercises.
Book a massage appointment in the spa or get a foot massage done as they will help you to relax and also relieves the stress. Massages also help to detoxify the system and give you instant energy.
Divide your work. Let your children and husband share some work with you. In this way you will not feel overloaded with work and they will also learn to manage the things.
Take a balanced diet as this will help you to cope up with daily stresses and prevent nutritional deficiencies like anemia and low calcium levels which are very common in Indian women.
Drink lots of water as this will help to detoxify your system. Always carry a water bottle with yourself. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water every day.
Use the stairs instead of elevators. This is very important when you are having a sitting job at office.
