Tips for Managing Stress
Stress | Posted by 365Doctor | 13-11-2016 | Comments
Stress, is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way. When people feel stressed by something going on around them, their bodies react by releasing chemicals into the blood. These chemicals give people more energy and strength, which can be a good thing if their stress is caused by physical danger. But it may be a bad thing, if stress is in response to something emotional.
Start your day with yoga or medication as it is one of the simple techniques of quieting the mind and relaxing the body.
During your work, keep changing your position or take a quick walk around the office. You should also drink some water.
Also walking 20 minutes per day may change your body chemistry in a way that calms the nervous system and reduces stress levels. Aerobic exercise is especially good in coping up stress.
Make some dietary changes like you may reduce sugar, carbohydrates, caffeine and alcohol in your diet.
Taking a daily multi-vitamin, mineral supplement and B-vitamin supplement can strengthen your nervous system and may help you to reduce the stress.
You may also take a cup of herbal tea at night. Create a bedtime ritual of drinking chamomile tea to relax. Or try an herbal liquid tincture sleep formula containing chamomile.
Studies have shown that music can change the physical symptoms of stress by decreasing blood pressure, reducing anxiety and regularizing the heartbeat.
Soft, soothing music or natural sounds like the sound of a brook, the sea or rain can be used to combat anxiety.
