Dr. Collins and his staff are very efficient, caring, and well trained. The office environment is calming as I wait to see Dr. Collins. The waiting area is kept moving with no long lines for check in. Dr. Collins himself has good bedside manners, so to speak. He is direct, focused, and caring. He conducts his appointments very efficiently and helps me to stay on point with facts. He subsequently offers a clear pathway forward as to what steps are next and I leave feeling that I received the best care possible as well as being one step closer to better managed personal health. I've seen him for years and his consistency in health care quality exceeds my expectations.

Dr Cooper is a great neurologist. She has given me medication for the last few years that has stopped my MS progression. I see some negative comments about her communication style. I found that if I'm friendly, she's friendly back. Besides, she's given me the gift of great treatment.

Neurosurgeon in Berkeley, California
Address: 2999 Regent St, Berkeley, CA 94705, United States
Phone: +1 510-841-8700
My enthusiasm for craftsmanship began during my childhood in San Francisco as the son of a carpenter. A degree in Engineering at UC Berkeley furthered my passion for problem solving while a degree in Philosophy piqued my fascination with the human brain and mind. This latter interest led me to medical school at the University of Southern California where I graduated with highest distinction and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa for medicine. After medical school, I honed my skills as a surgical intern within the high volume setting of the Los Angeles County Hospital. My neurosurgical training continued at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard and Emory University where I spent an extra year specializing in spine surgery. During this time in academia, I authored over 100 publications and presentations while receiving 20 awards including national awards for spine, cerebrovascular and socioeconomic research.
