I have been dr. Liu's patient now for several years and i have to say, he has been the best neurologist I have ever worked with on my migraines. He is very attentive, listens carefully, analyzes your progress and needs, adjusts treatment as needed. I love that he discusses new treatments as well as lifestyle impact(travel, work stress, etc.). Dr. Amy Lee squeezed me into her busy schedule in order to help me with my situation. I really appreciate her. She is straightforward, honest, efficient, knowledgeble and thoroughness with her evaluation of me. For those of us who are her new patients , I would suggest to mentally prepare for her no nonsense approach. What I would suggest to her is relax a little bit. I happened to have had MRIs in the past, and he was able to use those past images to understand and explain to me the course of development of my problems and then use that information to recommend the plan for surgery. This man is an awesome neurologist and the nicest person! I saw another neurologist at the Palo Alto location of PAMF explaining that I believed I had neuropathy from being prescribed a statin. He did the most ridiculous test and just said well everything looks fine kind of thing. I knew everything was NOT fine. I was referred to Doctor Greenwald by my boss who said he was amazing and everything from there was finally diagnosed, and indeed I do have slight neuropathy from taking the statin for one year.
