I saw Dr. Lee for the first time due to nerve damage. I have never in my 62 years had a Doctor that was as thorough as Dr. Lee. He's an exceptional Neurologist. I have only been seen by Dr. Lee for my initial visit. He made me feel like I have been in treatment for many years. Has sets the example for all Neurologist's with his expertise and knowledge. I met Dr. Counelis at the john Muir hospital in Walnut Creek in the emergency room. I had become a paraplegic due to a disc pressing on my spinal cord unbeknownst to me. He took the necessary time to diagnose me and then repair the damage and fix the nerves that had been damaged. The day of the surgery I started being able to get my lower half of my body to respond again. It has taken considerable PT and effort to relearn how to walk, but it is all due to his patience and willingness to dive into my case. I highly recommend both Dr. Wei and his amazing staff. Dr. Wei is extremely knowledgeable about current and forthcoming treatments, and is caring and responsive. Likewise, his staff will go to any length to ensure that insurance issues are resolved, along with prescription follow-ups and/or necessary disability paper work.
