My daughter has been a patient at Cedar Hills twice in a 9 month period. The first time was for 3 days and the second time for 7 days. Both times we/she had a positive experience. Admissions, was friendly, kind and understanding. She said her room was clean and the food and snacks they provide were good. No frozen dishes at meal time. Freshly prepared foods, daily. I was communicate with her daily. You must have the patients ID when calling. She liked group, music and art therapy. They had outside time and gym time. They even allowed her and other patients in her ward, 1 hour per day on their mobile device to check email and/or VM, & return calls.  The staff called me on both occasions to address questions, patient status and when it was time, discharge plan. The only complaint we have it the TV wasn't monitored very well. Every time I spoke with my daughter there was another horror movie on the TV. Not very uplifting or positive for patients trying to get out of negative and depressive thinking patterns.
