I am slightly quirky, incredibly compassionate, and it is important to me that you feel seen and accepted in my presence. My therapeutic style is integrative in nature, incorporating psychodynamic, humanistic, interpersonal, narrative, somatic, psychodrama, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques. My approach to therapy is genuine, non-judgmental, no-bullshit (but in a loving way!), and collaborative. It is my hope that you feel safe and comfortable enough to be your true and authentic self in my presence. While therapy is a journey of great importance, I like to make space for humor in the process.I believe in the rights of every human being to reach their full potential and welcome clients of all religions, ethnicities, gender/sexual/relational identities and cultural experiences.I am an artist, coffee-roasting, plant-eating, documentary and podcast-loving, voracious reader, stand-up comedy enthusiast, and struggling knitter with an offbeat sense of style and humor. I am also a traveler who is often galavanting across the country and the world to both experience the great unknown and to work with clients. I believe that life is "perfectly imperfect" and despite my own tendencies towards perfectionism, I find that I can actually enjoy the messiness of it all. From the time I was a little girl I stepped to the beat of my own drum and I look forward to helping you do the same.

If I can come back to love anyone can.I say that because my mother was emotionally abusive and then she died when I was 10 years old.My father raised me but wasn’t present emotionally (my whole family swept my mom and her ashes under the carpet.)He died 20 years later when I was 30 years old which was devastating. He saw me get married but never met my children. After being married for 10 years,I got divorced, had a spiritual awakening and found the love of my life.He died a few years later. This personal story of loss is a Come Back to Love triumph I easily could have ended up dead when I was a teenager but I didn’t because I found just enough love in my friends to keep me alive. And I found some other passions that I loved too much like singing and dancing.I also knew I needed to be here, to stay on the planet. For one thing,I have a sister who at the time had special needs, and I knew somewhere in my bones that she needed me.I grew up believing that happiness, joy, and deep connection and love were for other people.I lit rally thought that.Until one day it struck me that I could have that too.My life started to change at that moment.I was 32 years old. It's been 25 years since that"aha"moment and I've created a life filled with health and well-being (after years of chronic fatigue),an abundance of community, friends, and purposeful amazing work (after only barely surviving financially for years),and last but not nearly least,I met my life partner.I have so much to share with the world about how to come back to love after loss You're here because you want more love in your life and yet it's not easy, is it? To love and be loved (especially after loss, trauma, and heartbreak) isn't easy. And yet I'm here to tell you that I'm living proof that it's ENTIRELY POSSIBLE! I hold sacred space for people to gather and heal together.I invite curiosity, acceptance,a deep spiritual practice, and teach how to bestow love upon yourself and each other.I provide an open-hearted and safe place to explore intimacy, healing, and deep connection.
