Join a gym or you can also start with a simple walk. Exercise also helps in body shaping and figure correction.
Skipping Meals: Skipping of meals can also put you on weight gain. If you skip your meal then your metabolism also slows down. So when you eat another meal then your body absorbs it so fast and it can give you added calories plus when you skip your meal then you will feel more hungry and you will end up eating more than required. Skipping a meal can also lead to the eating unhealthy foods.
Stress: Continuous stress can also be the reason behind the weight gain. This is because when you are in stress a hormone called cortisol is released which helps the fat to store in the body. So avoid it as much as possible. You can also try yoga and meditation which are very beneficial ways to avoid stress.
Nibbling in between the foods: Nibbling in between the foods can also lead to the weight gain. By this way the person will eat more than required and which will add much more calories than required. So fix your meal timings and take food at that time only.
Unhealthy snacks: Consumption of unhealthy snacks like pizzas, pastries, burgers, chips and cokes can also lead to the weight gain. Always keep fresh fruits and vegetables in your refrigerator and when you feel hungry then eat them. By this way you will feel full and this will not add extra calories. Plus fruits and vegetables are also rich in vitamins and nutrients which help you to be fit and healthy.
Crash diets: Yes its true, crash diets can also stops the weight loss. With crash diets initially you can lose weight but that will be your muscle mass not the fat. So if you are feeling happy after noticing the weight loss after the crash diets then please think again as they are not at all healthy and can cause problems in weight loss in later stages. Actually they decrease the metabolism of the body and which can lead to the weight gain. Plus following these diets can also lead to nutritional deficiencies.
